Referrers

Dear Doctor,

Thank you for considering our services.

I am happy to see patient s with renal, adrenal and prostate disease whether this is benign or malignant. I would also be happy to see patients with other conditions such as haematuria, vasectomy and adult circumcision.

I am not doing any andrology or incontinence surgery, however if you want me to see any patients with these conditions I would be quite happy to work up the patient and give the necessary advice and even arrange for further referral.

Thank you for your continued support.

Consultation Preparation

What to bring to your appointment:

  • GP (or specialist) referral letter
  • All pathology results
  • All CT, x-ray, ultrasound, MRI and/ or bone scan films (or disc) and reports

PSA Screening Guidelines

I would suggest that a single elevated PSA should be repeated to ensure that it is truly elevated. If there are any associated lower urinary tract symptoms, antibiotics like Bactrim can be tried and the PSA repeated 2 weeks later. Treat suspected prostatitis with a Quinolone or Bactrim for 2-4 weeks.
